 3D implant planning and the use of surgical templates solutions have become an indispensable part of modern comprehensive implant treatment. The course describes the different options of a full digital workflow and discusses relevant indications and advantages on the base of scientific data. The lecture gives a future outlook on upcoming innovations and a summary of the cost-benefit ratio and possible strategies for the practitioner.

  • Full digital work flow from 1st appointment to provisional fit in only 2 patient appointments!
  • The advantages and disadvantages of different guides, guided kits and planning software
  • Hands on participation where delegates will place an implant through a guide on a model with the Dentium Full Guided Kit

What are the course aims?

This course aims to provide an implant dentist’s understanding of the skills required to use the SMOP planning software and utilise this for more complex cases. By the end of the course we would expect participants to be able to plan implant positioning confidently and be able to implement this within their practice.
